不久的将来，总有一天，你会这样宣告：

不久的将来，总有一天，你会成为摄影大师中的佼佼者。

你会用摄影家独具的慧眼去审视这大千世界。

你会宣告：

我是一名摄影家。

不久的将来，总有一天，有人也许会问你：

为什么你要当一名摄影家？

你将这样回答：

我要当一名摄影家，

因为它使我融入周围的世界。

我要当一名摄影家，

因为它使我得到心灵所需的甘露……

和餐桌上必备的面包。

我要当一名摄影家，

因为它使我有能力观察人间万象

并记录下人类的伟大成就……

我见过那自由的大地……

…和勇士的家园。

我也见过生命喜降人间……

……和撒手人寰。

我见过邻人穿街而过……

……和走遍全球。

我也曾记录过建设者的巨掌……

……和破坏者的魔爪。

我曾拍下欢乐的笑颜……

……和辛酸的泪滴。

我也曾摄下纯真的自然……

……和世故的人生。

我曾拍过美艳的人体……

……和纯洁的心灵。

我也曾拍过人们辛勤的劳作……

……和轻松的娱乐。

我拍摄过大自然的雄伟壮丽……

……和人类的鬼斧神工。

我也曾摄下花团锦簇之景……

……和豪情奔放之人。

啊！这一切——我眼中的世界，

尽在我的记录之中。

啊！我是一名摄影家！

Someday soon I will speak these words.

"I am a photographer."

"I became a photographer because it involved me in the entire world around me.

"I became a photographer because it provided me with food for my soul.. and bread for my table.

"I became a photographer because it enabled me to observe the human condition and to record

the parade of human events.."

"I have seen the land of the free and the home of the brave."

"I have seen the begining of life and the end."

"I have seen my neighbors across the street and across the world."

"I have recorded the hand of man as he builds and as he destroys."

"I have photographed smiles and tears."

"I have photographed innocence and sophistication."

"I have photographed body  and soul."

"I have photographed man at work and at play."

"I have photographed the wonders of nature and of man."

"I have photographed beautiful things and beautiful people."

"I have seen and recorded the world through my own eyes."

"I am a photographer!"
